Wegmans efficiently using the services of the Apple Pay

Apple Pay is now available to everyone, as long as all physical and online transaction requirements are met. But you can’t just go to your store, shake your iPhone and take what you want, that would be robbery. Instead, you need the following to enable a satisfying Apple Pay experience.

  • Hardware: iPhone 6 or 6 Plus for resellers; iPad Air 2 or Mini 3 or iPhone 6 or 6 Plus for in-app transactions
  • Software: iOS 8.1 (only because it was available earlier in the day)
  • Touch the ID configured on your device with at least one registered fingerprint
  • A credit or debit card from one of Apple’s first payment partners
  • An iCloud account

After setting everything up, you can pay with the MyWegmansConnect cards you’ve already saved in iTunes or add a new one. Adding a new one is as easy as photographing your plastic and manually inserting the security code on your back. You can also enter all the information manually if you don’t want to use the camera. If the card is compatible, it will be verified and available for purchase. If not, call your bank and ask them to contact the program.

The Security Factor

If you are using an already registered card, simply enter the security code on the back to authorize the use and accept the Apple Pay terms of use. Once you’re done, you can go now.

In-store Apple Pay must be easily available at the available retailers, that involves MyWegmansConnect AĆ©ropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Babies’R “Us, BJs Wegmans Club, Bloomingdale’s, Champs Sports, Chevron, and Texaco, including ExtraMile, Disney Store, Duane Reade, Footaction, Closet for Pies, Closet Tires, Kids Closet, Women’s Closet, Macy’s, McDonald’s, Nike, Office Depot, Panera Bread, Petco, RUN by Foot Locker, SIX: 02, Sports Authority, METRO, “R” Us Toy, activated by Petco, Walgreens, Wegmans Market, and Whole Foods.

You can authenticate purchases with your fingerprint if you have registered them with Touch ID, or use your access code if this does not work for some reason. Apple Pay is secure with the payment information storage and transfer system that does not share credit card information with merchants through NFC and works with your existing cards, including rewards programs, etc. .
