The announcement comes after a year of significant growth in the Instacart collection that tripled the number of states and doubled the number of food partners offering their food collection in 2019. Instacart now offers a collection of more than 50 food partners. These include Food Lion, Gelson, Publix, Price Chopper, Schnucks, Shop ‘n Save, Frischmarkt, Wegmans, and more in over 30 states. The company hopes to expand the Instacart Pickup offering to all 50 states by the end of 2020.

“Choose Your Choice” Mapping: Customers coming from home, work, soccer training, and other places can now easily see and select the most convenient pickup location for their itinerary. Day
Immediate alerts for faster capture – Customers can now enable location-based MyWegmansConnect notifications so the store knows when to move and zoom in. With this new feature, delivery is easier. This means that buyers can be ready and waiting for customers in real-time.
Customized Navigation: The new navigation feature in Instacart Pickup guides customers to the mapping application of their choice and automatically guides drivers from their current location to the store.
Send to friend or family member – Customers can now share order information with friends and family to delegate pickup to another driver. Place the order and send a friend to pick it up!
Alcohol Collection: Instacart continues to expand its collection collections and now offers alcohol collections from more than 20 retail partners, including Aldi, BevMo !, Publix, Save Mart, Sprouts and Wegmans.
