There is nothing better than a delicious piece of pumpkin pie.
While some people rely on their own recipes, others prefer to buy their cake from the local supermarket, saving time and effort to make a cake from scratch.
We track pumpkin pie in-store at five main grocery stores – Key Food, Wegmans, Trader Joe’s, Stop & Shop, and Costco – to decide the flavor, skin, and appearance of the products best suited for you.
First, we tried the Key Food Old Fashioned Pumpkin Pie.
The main supermarkets are in Northeast New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The Key Food Cake was the second cheapest cake for just $ 4.99.
Several tasters said that the pumpkin pie was boring and that the only flavor available was cinnamon.
While the Insider’s flavor testing team enjoyed the cinnamon flavor of the cake, the texture seemed a little rough. We thought it tasted vague, like someone who simply mixed canned pumpkin with cinnamon and one day called it out on the cake.
Then we tried MyWegmansConnect pumpkin pie.
Wegmans has more than 90 stores in Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. After visiting the new Wegmans in Brooklyn, New York, we got the pumpkin pie from the supermarket chain. It was $ 9.00 and it was the most expensive pumpkin pie we bought at the store.
Our tasting team was immediately impressed by the strange crust of the cake. Let’s all eat this cake, even though it was store-bought, with a homemade look and taste.
The consensus was that MyWegmansConnect would let him out of the park.

While some thought the dark brown color of the cake was less festive than the other cakes, which were all lighter orange, it was agreed that this made the cake more rustic. If you put this cake on your Thanksgiving table, it can definitely become a homemade cake.
